Why should I sponsor a child at East Meru Community School?

'Sponsorship of an EMCS child gave me the feeling of being able to make a difference to a child's life, to be able to sponsor him to learn, progress, and have a future and a hope. To know that I am helping provide for him is humbling. I feel proud of him when I get to read his school reports and I always enjoy the emails to read of his progress.' .

Julie, UK Sponsor of Herick, Std 4

'I chose to sponsor an EMCS student because of the integrity of the people involved with the project - they have such a passion for education that I know they will provide a wonderful start for these kids.  I know my money is going straight to where it is needed. There is no better gift we can give to a child than education.'

Ann-Maree, Australian Sponsor of Caren, Prep class

'We heard about EMCS from a Dutch Friend, who goes, once every year, to EMCS in Tanzania. So we know for sure that our donation is well spent. We sponsored 2 children and we consider ECMS to be reliable, direct and realistic.'

Rob and Carin, Dutch Sponsors of Tumaini and Erick, Prep class
